Happy Thanks Giving

Dear Friends,

It’s almost time to celebrate Thanksgiving and go over the Gratitude list. My sincere appreciation to you all who supported me and I am so glad that you are all in my life. Each one of you is very important to my life and has a common goal and passion for a healthy lifestyle.

Currently, I am travelling to India in collaboration with SVYASA Yoga University in Bangalore, India and the International Yoga Sports Federation in Lausanne, Switzerland (IYSF) is organizing on 2-4 December 2022 the 5th World Cup of Yogasana. The previous editions of this event were organized in Los Angeles, United States (2003-2013), London, United Kingdom (2014), Pordenone, Italy (2016), Beijing, China (2018), and virtually due to Covid in 2021.

This major event will gather yogasana athletes from all 6 continents: Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, United States, Canada, Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, Turkey, Nepal, India, Malaysia, Mongolia, China, Japan, and Australia. Congrats to all the athletes and thank you to the coaches, judges, and host countries. I am also enclosing some short stories about our India tour where my love for yoga begins. It’s very nostalgic to me. I am fortunate the View Tour & Travel group came along and arranged to show Kolkata the city of Joy, and the Taj Mahal, a symbol of love and power on a full moon night.

Let me now introduce you to my birth place- The City of Joy KOLKATA. A demographically diverse global city, the culture of Kolkata features harmony and uniformity in all aspects of music, art, museums, festivals and lifestyle. Kolkata is perhaps the most important cultural centre of India for its rich culture, artistic heritage, past traditions and literary wealth. This is where my root is connected. I started my first Yoga practice here, when I was just four years old at Mahila Yogbayam Kendra. It is quite evident that though the world is moving too fast for liking, Kolkata is still drenched in its Yogic history that truly makes it the “City of Culture”. The Royal History of Kolkata is sure to fascinate you, and here is the list of places you can visit to enlighten yourself with it. The best places to visit in Kolkata have something or the other for everyone. The Major attractions are Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Indian Museum, Marble Place, Eden Garden, Jorasanko Thakurbari, Mother House and many more. Making the sightseeing more interesting are the shopping streets, amusement parks and mouth watering eateries. With all these and much more, a tour to Kolkata is sure to leave every traveller enchanted.

We are expecting a large number of visitors, politicians, special dignitaries and Bollywood artists. Our mission is to promote Global Peace and Unity through Yoga asana as a sport.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
See you soon.

P.S – I am so excited that more of you wants to visit my birth place Kolkata so we added this 3 days trip.
